The Grand Foundation for Higher Education (GFHE) is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit corporation. The Foundation was
created in 2004 to aid and assist higher education entities in Grand County UT. The Foundation's mission is to
raise funds to support a three fold mission:

"Investing in a position of what can the community do for the sake of education will determine the overall success
of higher education in our area. The key in not to rely on what higher education can do for us, but to realize that
the path to economic development of our area lies in higher education. We have to act on it today, to be
successful tomorrow."

created in 2004 to aid and assist higher education entities in Grand County UT. The Foundation's mission is to
raise funds to support a three fold mission:
- Promote the value of higher education in a community and to assist students in the pursuit of their career
goals.
- Raise funds for an endowed tuition assistance program for students participating in higher education in
Grand County UT. This assistance can be for applied technology, associate, bachelor, certificate, masters or
doctorate degrees. Target Goal is to raise a $1,000,000 endowment.
- Raise funds for the construction, equipping, staffing, and or the support of academic and faculty positions for
programs that have been identified as a need in Grand County UT. Target Goal is to raise $10,000,000
