The Grand Foundation for Higher Education
The Grand Foundation for Higher Education (GFHE) was created to aid and assist higher education entities in
Grand County UT.
The GFHE mission is three fold:
- 1. Promote the value of higher education in a community. To assist students in the pursuit of their career
goals.
- 2 Provide tuition assistance for students participating in higher education in Grand County UT. We support
vocational/technical, associate, bachelor, certificate, masters or doctorate degrees.
- 3. Assist in the construction, purchasing, equipping, staffing, and or the support of academic and faculty
positions for programs that have been identified as a need in Grand County UT.
Vision Target $1,000,000
Tuition Assistance
The goal is to offer deserving students the assistance to cover college tuition costs
- $4,000 completion of an associate degree
- $4,000 completion of a bachelor degree
- $4,000 completion of a certificate or advanced degree

Building a world renowned campus complex
Our vision is for a college complex that will rise like the phoenix at the base of the Moab Rim. This college will be
the premium learning center hosting:
- Vocational technical education and allied health
- Service education for job readiness and literacy programs
- A world renowned center for studies in recreation/tourism, natural resources and ecology
- A research center for biology, anthropology, archeology, paleontology, and geology
- A place for the arts, drawing, pottery, photography, and painting
- A learning center that provides a wide array of enrichment programs and conferences for the community
and the world
- A place to earn a certificate, an associate, bachelors, masters, graduate degree, and enrichment opportunities
